Working with your facility

We know every facility is different. BidBudz is built to work within your rules — never around them. If something doesn't fit your policy, tell us, and we'll make it right.

Who we are

BidBudz helps families support an incarcerated loved one — simply and transparently. A family loads store credit onto an account, and we place orders for approved items (like paperback books) shipped directly from approved retailers. That's it. We are not a bank, not a message service, and not a workaround.

How we're built to stay compliant

Every facility is different — and that's okay

Your policies are yours to set. If a feature we offer doesn't fit your facility, we can turn it off for your facility, adjust how it works, or hold it entirely until it's cleared. We would always rather do it your way than push something that doesn't belong.

We're also happy to walk through it honestly — what the law actually requires, and where the decision is simply yours to make. We'd rather have that conversation openly than leave anything to guesswork.

More is coming — and we hold it until it's cleared

We have a number of features in development. Every one of them waits until it's been properly cleared — with regulators, with our counsel, and with your facility — before it ever goes live. We would rather move slowly and get it right than rush something and have it kicked back. When we bring you a new feature, it's because we've already done the homework.

Have a specific feature in mind — something you'd want, or something you're wary of? Just ask. Chances are we've already reviewed it. We'll tell you straight: what we can do, how we'd do it within your rules, or — if we can't — exactly why not. No guesswork and no dodging. If it's a good idea we haven't built yet, we'll look into it and come back with a real answer.
